Transfer Values: Kylian Mbappe, Marcus Rashford, Erling Haaland, and Jude Bellingham – Who Tops the List?

Jude Bellingham, a midfielder for Real Madrid and England, holds the highest transfer value in football, exceeding £230m, as per a study by the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES).

The evaluation method, which factors in performance, age, and contract duration, explains Kylian Mbappe’s drop to 27th in the rankings, with a value of £91.3m, as his contract with Paris Saint-Germain nears its end.

Bellingham’s value has seen a significant increase, doubling in six months following his £115m move from Borussia Dortmund to Madrid, where he leads the LaLiga scoring charts with 13 goals.

Erling Haaland of Manchester City follows closely with a £216.1m valuation, surpassing Bellingham’s Madrid teammates Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo.

Arsenal’s attacking force of Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, and Gabriel Martelli feature in the top 11, alongside Manchester City’s Phil Foden and Julian Alvarez.

Several Premier League stars, including Dominik Szoboszlai, Marcus Rashford, Enzo Fernández, and others, are valued over £100m.

Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund, despite scoring only four league goals this season, are Manchester United’s highest-valued players, followed by teammates like Alejandro Garnacho.

Surprisingly, Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale and Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson also make the list, ranking at No 73 and No 62 respectively.

The top-100 list predominantly features Premier League players (51), outnumbering those from LaLiga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Primera Liga, and the Brazilian Serie A.

Manchester City dominates with 11 players on the list, followed by Arsenal with nine. Barcelona and Real Madrid, along with English giants Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United, are also prominently featured.
