See Which Celebs Hosted Toy Drives Ahead Of Christmas

This holiday season, several celebrities have embraced the spirit of giving by participating in toy drives and community events. Their efforts have brought joy and festive cheer to many.

Jeezy, amidst personal challenges, partnered with Amazon for a special toy giveaway. Through this collaboration, Amazon contributed $30,000 to assist residents of College Park, Atlanta. The event was a departure from traditional toy drives, with Jeezy’s Streetz Dreamz Foundation playing a pivotal role. The giveaway on December 16 involved city workers, police officers, firefighters, and even a Santa Claus character, bringing toys, warm clothing, laptops, and bikes to local children. College Park Mayor Bianca Motley Broom expressed her delight at the children’s reactions to the unexpected Santa Claus visit.

Latto, another notable artist, returned to her roots in Clayton County for her annual Christmas toy drive, held on the same day. The event took place at Clayton State University’s gymnasium, where Latto, a Lovejoy High School alumna, collaborated with commissioner Dr. Alieka Anderson. She donated over $350,000, distributing toys to the community, as reported by FOX 5 Atlanta.

On the West Coast, Kendrick Lamar brought holiday cheer to Compton during the city’s annual toy drive at Enterprise Park. Lamar, known for his laid-back style, interacted and took photos with locals, including children, activists, and volunteers, during the Christmas In Compton Toy Giveaway. While his financial contribution to the event is not specified, his presence added a special touch to the festivities.

These celebrities’ participation in these events underscores their commitment to giving back and making a positive impact in their communities during the holiday season.
